The annual fee from the Danish EPA is now being charged

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is currently sending invoices to companies' digital mailboxes on virk.dk and in e-Boks with the annual fee for handling producer responsibility on packaging. The fee in 2025 is based on your 2024 batch report of quantities.

The fee in 2025 is 0.025 DKK per kg of packaging waste, based on your 2024 batch report of packaging quantities. Read more about batch reporting here.

The annual fee to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) goes, among other things, to cover supervision of companies' compliance with regulations, analysis of the content of packaging in waste fractions, as well as awareness-raising measures.
