First Reporting - 3 Options

Companies with producer responsibility must now report their actual available quantities of one-way packaging. For members of VANA, this means that you need to start reporting your eco-modulated quantities continuously in the Member Portal. The first time reporting will be:

  • November 1-20, 2025 for companies with quantities over 8 tonnes annually.
  • January 1-20, 2026 for companies with quantities under 8 tonnes annually (the triviality limit) - unless you have actively chosen monthly and thus eco-modulated reporting.

There are no official requirements for your data collection process, and how you structure your data. However, it is your responsibility to ensure that you have all the necessary packaging data required to report correctly to the authorities and categorize your packaging quantities into either red, yellow, or green levels. You can report to VANA in 3 ways:

  1. In the Member Portal
  2. File transfer via CSV
  3. API transfer via key

If you are using an external partner for your data management, you must ensure that they can support your reporting choice. There should be no reporting of reusable packaging from November 1, 2025; more information on reporting reusable packaging will follow later.
