VANA is established for the business community by the business community
VANA A/S is established and owned by Denmark's largest industry and business organisations, whose members account for approximately 80% of the companies covered by producer responsibility on packaging, and covers all industries.
Danish Industry, Agriculture & Food, Danish Business and DagSam founded VANA in 2021 to help Danish companies meet the extended producer responsibility in an environmentally correct, administratively simple, and cost-effective manner.
About the name VANA
VANA is derived from the word Vanaheim - one of the nine worlds known from Norse mythology, which is said to exist after Ragnarok, and to which the Aesir will return.
In the same way, VANA works to ensure that our world persists: We promote environmentally friendly packaging by keeping resources in circulation for as long as possible.
