New guide helps understanding the requirements and roles for the PPWR

The PPWR indeed imposes new requirements on businesses that work with packaging. Therefore, we have developed a practical step-by-step guide to help our members gain an overview of their roles, obligations, and next steps. For many businesses, one of the first tasks will be to clarify the roles and requirements they have in the packaging value chain. The role has implications for what requirements the company must meet and what documentation needs to be in place.

That is precisely why we have prepared the guide “PPWR: How to Get Started”. The guide helps you ask the right questions and create a structured approach to working with the PPWR. The guide makes it easier to identify where you should start, which areas you need to investigate further, and how you can prepare the company for the upcoming requirements.

Some of the specific requirements and interpretations will become clearer as the EU and the Danish authorities publish new guidance and the secondary legislation is adopted. Therefore, we will continuously update the guide so that our members have access to the latest knowledge and a current basis for working with the PPWR.
