Information about DPA fees for packaging and single-use plastic is on the way
Within the next few days, Dansk Producentansvar (DPA) will send an information letter via Digital Post to companies with producer responsibility for packaging and/or single-use plastic. The letter informs about the expected fee rates for 2026 and the upcoming invoicing in August.
DPA informs that they expect the fee rates for 2026 to be lower than last year – over 40% for packaging and around 50% for single-use plastic. However, each company's invoice depends on the reported quantities and, for packaging, the company's registration category.
The fee is an administration fee to Dansk Producentansvar and covers, among other things, the operation of the producer responsibility register as well as administration and guidance on producer responsibility. It does not cover the practical collection and handling of waste, which is managed by the producer responsibility organisation (PRO).
The invoice is also sent directly from DPA via Digital Post, expected in August/September.
